We learn English in the same way we learn to ride a bicycle. We experiment and take risks that sometimes can lead us to a few bumps and a few bruises which are undeniably part of the learning process. People may laugh at us for our mistakes, but that’s okay for we may laugh at ourselves too for the important discovery that we will have made. Remember, there’s no harm in trying. We won’t be able to succeed unless we’ve tried.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of luck. Failures, short comings, and hardships occur to test the limits of our souls. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

Make each day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets. Live. Laugh. Love.

An Inspirational Story

I can relate to this quotation that says, "You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend". I’ve actually felt this when I have read the book of Gifted Hands narrating the story of Ben Carson that inspired me so much. It is a true to life story that shows the life of a man who experienced hardships but still stood up and fought to have a better life for him and for his loved ones as well. Indeed, an inspiration for all of us. Never give up, have patience and have a strong faith.

Social Networks Affecting Our Lives

Social networking has been a very big part of our lives. We can’t deny the fact that it influences almost all of the people living all over the world. We use it everyday in schools, offices, malls, and even in our homes. Actually, it has advantages and disadvantages. It makes our living easier. We can reach out to people in no time. We are being updated about the happenings around the world with just a click. But sometimes, we forget our limitations and become addicted to it.  We forget to do our obligations and responsibilities because of too much use of social networks. The lesson is we can adapt advancements and modernization especially in technology. It can greatly help us, that is a truth. But always remember that too much is bad. Addiction and obsession is a big NO.

Something Big

In our life, things won’t always go the way we want them. We sometimes feel alone, lonely, betrayed and scared. But even if all the bad things happen we still know how to get back up. Problems comes our way very often, sometimes even all at the same time. We might feel like giving up but still we must bear in mind that He will not give us our problems if we can’t endure them. So think about it this way, if you were given lots of them, it just means that you are a strong person.


Positivism is one of the things we need. We just have to learn to look at the brighter side of everything. If something bad happens, just appreciate its positive side. This way, we will not come to the point of thinking wherein we pity ourselves because we shouldn’t. Besides there are many people who have worse problems than us. So the next time something big hinders your way, instead of saying “Dear God I have a big problem.” why not say, “Hey problem, I’ve got a big God.”

A Blessed Son of God

Sometimes, there will be random moments in your life that you will feel very blessed and thankful for the life that you currently have like what I am feeling right now. I thank God for giving me these family and friends. They never fail me. They are always there in my ups and downs. They give me words of encouragements whenever I feel like giving up. They give me a helping hand each time I fall. They push me beyond my limits to be able to bring out the best in me. I can say that I am very lucky for having this life. I was never alone. My family, friends and God keeps me going to my journey. I believe that I can accomplish all of my goals in life. Even though sometimes, problems and difficulties cannot be avoided. I just keep in my mind that without these, my life would be as meaningless as a quitter does. I won’t quit and I won’t give up, because I believe that I can.
